Did you know that the original “Top Gun” movie was filmed partially at the Fallon Naval Air Station? And there’s a “Top Gun 2” listed on an IMDB page, but is the Top Gun team planning to film at the base again? Rumors have been flying around Northern Nevada that Tom Cruise and his production team have been seen in Fallon. Zip Upham, spokesman for the Fallon airbase, says no one’s been up from Hollywood since 2012, the last time Cruise was at the base, scouting locations.  Uphum says that if Cruise and the production staff did visit the base recently, it would probably have been kept under wraps by the airbase because they prefer not have thousands of people along the perimeter fences looking for movie stars.
