The Nevada Department of Transportation has started a big project in the North Valley’s area, so you may see some tie ups as the work continues. Ramp meters, a wrong way driver detection system, travel time signs, and traffic cameras are being added to the stretch of 395 that runs from the Spaghetti Bowl all the way to the California state line. Almost 50,000 drivers travel that section of 395 every day, and volume is only expected to increase in the coming years, as more people move to the outlying areas of Reno.
