Conservation and transportation crews are preparing to temper a 250-percent increase in snowpack anticipated to melt into Northern Nevada rivers and towns in the next three months. State agency officials met at the Capitol yesterday to discuss flood mitigation strategies after of one of Nevada’s wettest winters on record.
