(KOH) – On Friday, Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske said her office is investigating voter fraud in last year’s election.  She specifically cited evidence of non-citizens voting, and sent a letter to DMV requesting that voter registration materials *not* be given to those using a green card for identification. Her letter said that the practice must “cease immediately”, and that non-citizens have registered to vote as a direct result of DMV’s practices.  DMV Director Terri Albertson fired a reply back today, saying her department flags applications which appear questionable when forwarding applications to the appropriate county clerk.  Albertson also said that Cegavske herself has reviewed and approved the current procedures.
