The Tahoe Regional Young Professionals group is inviting you to a presentation this week to talk about recreational marijuana. They’ll have experts on hand to answer questions, and discuss local, state, and federal concerns related to the drug. The Tahoe Town Hall: Understanding Recreational Cannabis is free, and being held at the Tahoe Beach Retreat Conference Center in South Lake Tahoe this Wednesday, from 6 to 7:30pm at 34-11 Lake Tahoe Blvd. The townhall will feature a panel discussion by local law enforcement, health officials, and those in charge of regulating marijuana in California. Nevada dispensaries are expected to begin selling recreational marijuana on July 1st.
