The Reno City Council unanimously approved the Downtown Action Plan, creating the Downtown Management Organization. The D.M.O. will create a new team of ambassadors who will focus on issues like homelessness, with the aim of cleaning up the downtown image.  Cleaning up blighted areas is another objective of the D.M.O., and other improvements could include a dog park on the train trench, biking improvements, and maybe even splitting downtown into different distinct districts.
