Crews Knock Down Brush Fire Near Pyramid Lake Paiute Reservation

The Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center says fire on all flanks of a brush fire burning near the north end of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Reservation has been knocked down after it reached about 100 acres yesterday. The Center says the Bottom Fire burning near Round Hole Spring will be fully contained at about one this afternoon. Bureau of Land Management fire crews fought it overnight. The blaze was reported shortly before three yesterday afternoon and is believed to have been caused by a contractor working in the area.
