Neighbors are fighting a proposed housing development at one of Reno’s historic sites. People who live near the “Caughlin (collin) Ranch House” on Mayberry Drive, want to stop a plan that calls for 25 town homes around the property.  The site was donated to the city with the wish that the land around it would remain open space. The city is dealing with a large and growing housing shortages, and is trying to create more homes. The issue comes back to the planning commission in June.
