US News and World Report has released their list of the top schools in Nevada, and four of the top 10 are in Washoe County. Coral Academy Charter School Secondary took second in the state, Academy of Art, Careers, and Technology ranked fourth, Reno High came in seventh, and McQueen was listed as 8th. The Academy of Art was also designated the top school in Washoe County.  Criteria for inclusion included graduation rates, college readiness, and math and English proficiency.
