The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, Reno and Sparks PD, NHP, and other law enforcement agencies are hosting a Symposium on Community and Policing tonight at the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Truckee Meadows.  It’s a chance to meet the men and women who keep us safe, and to talk about issues like immigration and mental health with experts.  If you’d like to go, it’s from 6pm until 8pm at 2980 East 9th Street. A BBQ dinner will be served free of charge, and WCSO will also have RAVEN, and some patrol vehicles for the kids to check out.
