No Bail For Doctor in Reno “Pill Mill” Case

The Reno family doctor accused in Reno’s “Pill Mill” case has again been denied bail. Robert Rand has been held for more than a year, accused of illegally supplying prescription drugs to be sold on the black market. He was one of nine people arrested in April 2016, after a local car dealership was raided. Federal investigators charged them with running the opioid ring. Those suspects have all pleaded guilty to drug charges.  Rand’s next court appearance is May 6th.
