River conditions are expected to be “Extreme” for the upcoming Reno River fest. Even as the city warns residents and visitors to avoid getting too close to the Truckee, the River Fest will go on as scheduled Mothers Day Weekend, May 13th and 14th in Wingfield Park.  City of Reno’s Matt Brown says the safety advice from the city is based on current conditions and shouldn’t deter anyone from coming out to see world class athletes compete on Kayaks.
