Senate Joint Resolution 11 looks to change the Nevada’s biennial sessions of the legislature into annual ones. Senator Joyce Woodhouse, one of the bill’s sponsor, said the current system is outdated. Because SJR 11 would change the state constitution, it would need to pass this session and in 2019. It would then head to voters in 2020.
