Six defendants in the murder trial of 18 year old Grant Watkins, killed during a drug deal that escalated into a robbery in January 2016, have all been sentenced this week. Reed and Jonathan Skenandore, Jacob Huttman, Jesus Garcia-Manriquez, Keenan Blackmore, and Daniel Lease were all just 19 and 22 at the time of the murder. The Skenandores, Huttman, and Garcia-Manriquez will each spend 20 to 25 years in prison before they’re eligible for parole. Blackmore and Lease both received probation.
