The Washoe County School District is looking for locals who’d like to be on their School Naming Committee. It’s been awhile since the committee had a reason to get together, but there’s lots of new schools planned, so the district is moving forward with filling the 11 seats, so they can get started. Riley Sutton with the district says one of the schools you’ll help name is the new Wildcreek High School at the corner of Sullivan and McCarran.  Apply online at http://washoeschools.net, or at their office at 425 East 9th Street. The deadline is May 19th.
