The Sparks Police Department has released a sketch of a suspect in a robbery at knife point near downtown Sparks on April 25. It happened on Victorian Avenue near 10th Street about 12:50 a.m. when a man threatened the victim with a knife and demanded money. The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of money and was not injured. The suspect ran west on Victorian Avenue towards Dotty’s Casino. Police described the suspect as Asian, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall with an average build, clean-shaven, short black hair with a Chinese symbol on his neck and wearing a red, hooded sweatshirt, white denim pants and black shoes.
