(KOH) – Reno City Councilman Oscar Delgado will be inducted into the Sparks High School Hall of Fame as a Distinguished Alumni during a ceremony on Monday.  Delgado was first elected to the council in 2012, and was re-elected in 2016.  He was named Elected Official of the Year in 2013 by the Nevada Chapter of the American Planning Association.  Coach Gregg Shugar will also be honored as a Distinguished Alumni, and Coach John Gonda will be remembered as a Distinguished Friend. The ceremony will take place Monday at 4pm at the Sparks High Theater, followed by a reception hosted by the alumni.
