EDAWN Promotes STEM Jobs at local schools

The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada, in a effort to get more people ready to work at Tesla, Switch, and other manufacturing jobs at the TRIC, are giving third and fourth grade students at schools in the Washoe County School District a book that concentrates on STEM, or Science, Technology, Engineering, and math careers.  Students will receive their “My Future Activity Book” this week.  The books not only talk about a wide range of STEM jobs, but they also explore the education and skill requirements to get those jobs.
