A yearlong celebration of Reno’s sesquicentennial kicks off  tonight in downtown Reno. Reno was founded May 9th 1868, and for the next year, Reno 150 will be recognizing the 150-year history of the biggest little city. The family-friendly kickoff event will run from 4:30 to 6:30 at city plaza downtown. There will be a birthday cake, a photo booth, and live entertainment.
