The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that has closed part of Second Street in Reno. The crash happened about 10:30AM. NHP says the driver of a dump truck headed south on I-580 took the Second Street/Glendale offramp and hit a car sitting at the light. The truck pushed the car across the road and into a field before overturning in the eastbound lanes of Second Street. One person in the car was taken to a hospital with what troopers believe are non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries are reported. Troopers don’t know why the truck driver hit the car, but he was reportedly honking his horn on his way off the freeway.
