Congressman Amodei’s Poll Numbers Slip Since Repeal Vote

Since his health care vote, the polls have not been kind to Congressman Mark Amodei.  The Public Policy Polling firm says 50% of voters surveyed in CD -2, which has never elected a democrat, now oppose the house repeal of Obamacare. The poll also shows Amodei with 46% and a “Generic” democrat with 45%, if the election were held today.  In the survey, Amodei has an approval number of 47%, even lower than Trump’s 48% in the district. Political Science Professor Erik Herzik at the University of Nevada calls the numbers “Troubling,” for the congressman. He says he’s never seen a poll this close in that Congressional district.
