The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a Person of Interest in a Placerville Homicide. Authorities were called to the 4400 block of Forni Road at just before 5 o’clock on a report of gunshots. Witnesses say a red motorcycle ridden by a person with a black helmet left the area shortly after the shooting and headed towards Missouri Flat Road. It is believed that person is 36-year-old Travis Eriksen. The victim in the shooting died from his wounds. Anyone who knows of Eriksen’s location or has information about the shooting is asked to contact law enforcement. Eriksen is considered armed and dangerous.
