If you’re looking for work, and you’re a veteran, there’s a new program in Carson City you need to get involved with. Job Club, who meets in Carson City every Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Nevada Job Connect office, is inviting vets to their one hour long weekly meeting to get them prepared for the job market. Reps from the Nevada Attorney General’s office, Veterans Administration, Veterans Business Administration, Job Opportunities In Nevada, and the Professional Institute of Technology and Accounting are all onsite during the meetings to answer questions and direct vets to job opportunities. The meetings are held in the Frontier Plaza located at 1929 North Carson Street.
