Governor Sandoval’s office isn’t saying directly that he would veto a bill that would allow the creation of “Marijuana Lounges,” where people could light up in a public setting. But the Governor’s spokesperson Mari St Martin says the Governor, who opposed legalizing recreational marijuana, wants the industry to be “Restricted, responsible and ultimately respected,”  and he is doubtful that pot lounges achieve that goal. SB 236 passed the Nevada Senate last month on a 12-9 vote.
