6 Reno Attorneys Apply to Replace Judge Berry

(KOH) – Six attorneys from Reno have applied to replace Judge Janet Berry, who retired last month.

The Nevada Commission on Judicial Selection is reviewing the following attorneys for the position:

  • Wesley Ayres, Court Administrator, Second Judicial District
  • Richard Cornell, private practice
  • Kathleen Drakulich, partner with McDonald/Carano
  • James Keller, Asst United States Attorney, Criminal Division
  • Douglas Rands, partner with Rands, South and Gardner, and
  • Gregory Shannon, Family Court Master, Second Judicial District

Keller and Ayres were also finalists to replace Judge Lidia Stiglich in March.

The commission invites public comments about the applicants. You can view their applications and submit comments on their website, and you can remain anonymous or request your letter be confidential.
