(KOH) – The Carson City Fire Department and Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Carson City Airport around 9pm tonight where a 1973 single-engine Balanca registered in Arizona crashed adjacent to the runway. The pilot was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The main runway was blocked temporarily. Sheriff Ken Furlong says the investigation has been turned over to the National Transportation and Safety Board.
