The Nevada Department of Wildlife has closed two elk poaching cases, under investigation for almost two years. Two Utah residents, 42 year old Amy Jo Summers and 69 year old Steven Frank Bennett, were both charged and convicted of possession of an unlawfully killed game animal. NDOW’s Ed Lyngar says Summers actually was caught in the act. Both suspects lost their hunting privileges. Summers won’t be able to get a hunting license for 5 years, and Bennett won’t be able to get one for twenty years.
