A California man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for vehicle burglary and theft charges in Washoe County. He will have to serve at least eight years in prison before being eligible for parole. Ryan Sikes was arrested in December 2016 by Reno Police after an investigation linked him and a woman to a vehicle burglary in the parking lot of a Walmart. Detectives determined Sikes and 34-year-old Katie Elizabeth Johnson burglarized a car parked in the lot and took several items including an ATM card, Christmas gifts, and a stroller belonging to special needs twins.
