A brush and structure fire burning Thursday afternoon prompted a mutual aid call from Lyon County to surrounding agencies, including Carson City. The fire in the area of Idaho and Citrus streets in Silver Springs, closed roads for several hours as crews battled the blaze that spread to two homes on the street.
