(KOH) – Sparks police is investigating a serious vehicle vs bicycle crash that happened about 2 pm Friday near Sullivan and I. Police said a 40-year-old female was driving north on Sullivan approaching the victim also riding his bicycle northbound. The driver then drove onto the sidewalk and hit a garbage can, and ran into the back of the victim’s bicycle, throwing him over the top of the vehicle. The 33-year-old male victim suffered major head trauma which could be life-threatening. Police say drugs or alcohol were not involved.
