Lido Inn Update, Arson Suspect Arrested

Reno Police say they have a arrested a woman in connection with a series of trash container arson fires in downtown Reno, however it’s not clear if she’s a suspect in the Lido Inn fire on West Fourth Street Sunday morning at about 4:30. Fire officials say 36-year-old Brionne Humes started several trash fires in downtown Reno. She’s been booked on suspicion of three counts of first degree arson, one count of third degree arson and one count of attempted arson. A fire was started in the elevator at the Lido Inn shortly after the last of those trash container fires was discovered. Twenty five people were displaced and kept on a city transport bus.Two residents were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. The fire destroyed the elevator at the Lido Inn and damaged rooms on the second and third floors.
