The Street Vibrations Spring Rally is roaring back into town this weekend, closing South Virginia through Sunday to make room for all the vendors, food trucks, 24 live bands, and visitors. It’s a three day party that brings bikes and bikers from all over the country into the biggest little city. For that reason, Reno Police are issuing a warning for those travelers who may not be familiar with the rules of our roads. Splitting lanes is one violation cops are on the lookout for says RPD’s Tim Broadway. Other rules that bikers need to follow include wearing a DOT approved helmet, with a windscreen. If your helmet doesn’t have a windscreen, you’re required by law to wear glasses to protect your eyes. And always park your bike in a well lit secure area.
