The Carson City Fire Department is asking for air support to help fight a brush fire in the Brunswick Canyon area. Carson Fire spokeswoman Stacey Belt says the fire was reported about 1:30pm along Deer Run Road, and is not threatening any structures. The fire’s estimated size as of 2PM (Fri May 2nd) was two acres. No cause has been determined. Update: The fire was contained at about four acres.
