With summer approaching our news partners are asking you to become part of the annual KOLO 8 Fan Club. They’ve again partnered with Washoe Senior Services to help local seniors stay cool. Seniors ages 60 and older who do not have air conditioning or are in need of fans to help cool their homes are encouraged to contact Washoe County Senior Services at 328-2575 or stop by the Senior Center at 1155 E. 9th Street, Building E, to learn more about how they can participate.  Donated fans can be dropped off or picked up between 9AM and 4PM Monday through Friday. Only donations of new fans still in boxes will be accepted.
