A 24-year old man has been arrested  after officers recovered a large amount of drugs, and stolen handguns from his motel room in Sparks.  Evan Encoe was arrested at the Motel 6 on Victorian Avenue. Police say Encoe was in possession of methamphetamine, and an unidentified woman with him was carrying heroin and cash.  Police got a search warrant for Encoe’s motel room where they found stolen handguns and narcotics.  Encoe is charged with resisting a police officer, possession of drugs with intention to sell, and possession of stolen property, among other charges.
