Man Accused of Stealing Ski Passes Changes His Plea

A Minden man has confessed to ripping off thousands of dollars worth of ski pass vouchers from Heavenly Mountain Resort, changing his plea during a pre trial conference. 22 year old Tim E. Jacobsen says he did steal almost $38,000 worth of passes sometime between October 2015 and March 2016, that were eventually sold online. Jacobsen admitted in a plea agreement to being a principle to embezzlement, which is a category C felony, and faces a one to five year prison sentence and a $10,000 fine. Two other suspects in the case, Mark E. Graham of Gardnerville and Angelo Bozin of South Lake Tahoe, have both plead not guilty, and are awaiting their day in court.
