Pembroke Drive is closed to all traffic between the Rosewood Lakes Golf Course club house and Steamboat Creek.  RTC says the closure is needed to safely reconstruct the intersection. The closure will last about two months and was timed to happen when nearby schools are not in session. Mira Loma Drive is available as an alternate route.  When completed, RTC says the intersection will become about seven feet higher than it is today, so the SouthEast Connector will be passable during a major flood event such as the region experienced in 1997. RTC says the SouthEast Connector will provide a new escape route preventing this part of the community from being cut off and isolated, and allow for emergency access by first-responders.
