The El Dorado Sheriff’s Office is looking for man believed to have stabbed a woman to death in Placerville. Deputies were called to a home on Newton Road Monday night around 5:15 and found a dead woman inside when they arrived. A child was also found with multiple stab wounds. That child was rushed to the hospital. Deputies are looking for 24-year-old Bernardo Castillo in connection to the homicide. He is described as a Hispanic male, with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 6’0″and weighs 190 pounds. They say he may be driving a 2002 white Ford Explorer, California license plate 4XTF911.
