Man Accused of Threatening Judge Convicted on Weapons Charge

Carson Now reports the man who is suspected of sending Carson City judge John Tatro threatening messages and attempting to fire bomb his home, was convicted in Carson City District Court of two felony weapons charges from 2011. 74 year old John Aston was found guilty of carrying a concealed weapon, a category C felony, and possession of a short-barreled shot gun, a category D felony. He will sentenced for the charges on August 1.
