The Associated Press is reporting, the Governor has signed emergency regulations to allow recreational marijuana to be sold at some medical dispensaries July 1st. Nevada Department of Taxation spokeswoman Stephanie Klapstein says under the emergency regulation, any legally licensed retailer that has inventory left over from the medical program would be allowed to sell for recreational. 25 dispensaries are ready to go in Las Vegas, and four in Reno. Licensing of others to sell, is hung up by a judges ruling that says alcohol distributors have the first rights to the licenses. The “Emergency Regulations” are seen as a way around that ruling that threatens to stall “Early start,” of recreational pot.
