A Carson City man is in hot water after allegedly beating two children with a jump rope while their mother was at work.  28 year old Johnnie Lawson was watching his 4 year old son and his 6 year old step-daughter when the two children left their apartment without telling Lawson, to play outside.  That apparently enraged Lawson who first broke a number of the kids’s toys before reportedly hitting both children with a plastic jump rope, leaving welts.  Lawson was arrested Tuesday afternoon, and held on $40,000 bail.
