With the economy in recovery, Triple A is predicting the highest travel volume ever this Independence Day weekend. 44.1 million Americans are expected to travel nationwide, that’s a three percent increase from last year. Travel costs including airfare, car rentals and hotels are trending a little lower this year. More than 3.4 million Americans will fly this Independence Day, boosting air travel by 4.6 percent over last year.
