While several states are resisting handing over voter data to the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity, Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske will do so. She says voter information including names, addresses, dates of birth and participation in prior elections is generally available for public inspection in Nevada. But she says certain information, including Social Security, Drivers License Numbers, DMV ID cards numbers and email addresses will not be included. Critics of the President’s commission say this data collection is not about resolving voter fraud, which is virtually non existent, it’s part of a broader plan of voter supression and some states, including California are refusing to comply in the interest of voter privacy.
