The City of Reno is again warning against the illegal use of fireworks. Possession is a misdemeanor that requires a court appearance and could lead to fines of up to a thousand dollars and six months in jail. But there are plenty of ways to take in fireworks legall. They include the Star Spangled Sparks Spectacular, which wraps up a day of celebration on Victorian Square, The Reno Philharmonic Show in Wingfield Park and tonight’s Reno Aces game also closes with fireworks. Fireworks will be launched tonight in Mills Park in Carson City. The Fireworks Show at South Lake Tahoe is also considered one of the best in the country, Kings Beach and Tahoe City also host fireworks shows. In Virginia City there’s a day time parade, and a nighttime fireworks show.
