The pedestrian victim of a fatal hit and run accident that happened July 1st on Fremont Avenue south of Johnson Lane has been identified as 21 year old Roberto Palomar-Espinosa of Gardnerville. The crash happened about 5am. The investigation is ongoing. NHP and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office want to speak to any witnesses or anyone who knows anything about this crime, and the driver who fled.
