Northern Nevada HOPES is hosting a townhall tonight to have an open discussion about the Affordable Care Act. John Packham, Ph.D., who’s the Director of Health Policy Research at UNR School of Medicine, will be the featured speaker at the town hall that runs from 6-8pm. Members of Nevada’s congressional delegation, including Senator Dean Heller, have been invited to speak, but so far none of them have said they’re attending. Northern Nevada HOPES is located at 580 5th Street, and the event is free and open to the public.
