Residents Asking The Sparks City Council to Halt Wildcreek High School Plan

People who live around the Wildcreek Golf Course are appealing to the Sparks City Council, to refuse to go along with a plan to put a high school where the PGA rated course now stands. They say there are too many issues over traffic, the loss of green space, the risk of flooding the high school, and they say there are many other good places for a school.  The plan is to take out 27 holes, leaving just nine behind, and build a school for students from Hug High which would evolve into another facility, and from Sun Valley who are currently bused to Sparks and Spanish Springs.
