Air quality in the Washoe County has really taken a hit since the Farad Fire began Monday afternoon. And those who already deal with daily respiratory problems are getting the worst of it. Healthcare pros have been seeing people coming into urgent care centers and emergency rooms since Monday evening. Symptoms of shortness of breath, coughing, and feeling fatigued are the most common… and those getting the worst of it already have breathing issues, such as COPD, emphysema, or asthma.
As of Wednesday morning, the Farad fire has burned 670 acres, and is estimated to be 20 percent contained.
