Update Suspect Photo Released in Tamarack Junction Robbery

Reno Police continue to investigate a robbery at the Tamarack Junction casino in south Reno. Police say a man wearing a mask used a gun to rob the attendant at the sports book, then was tackled by a customer and security officers. He then fired a shot, which didn’t hit anyone, but the customer was hurt in the struggle and taken to a hospital with what police say are non-life-threatening injuries. The robber escaped in a waiting vehicle driven by a second person; neither has been identified by police. But witnesses say the robber is black and was wearing a dark hoodie and and dark pants. His face was obscured by his hood and another object over his mouth and nose. Police say the two got away in a green Ford Explorer with tinted windows and oxidizing paint on the hood.
