Governor Brian Sandoval and the Nevada Department of Veterans Services is inviting veterans, their families and you to attend a Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new Northern Nevada State Veterans Home. It’s happening at 10:00 a.m. today at 2 Kietzke Lane in Sparks, across from the DMV.  Completion of the 102,000 square foot, state of the art facility is set for December 2018. It will feature 96-beds, physical therapy, dining hall, conservatory, beauty and barber shop, store, coffee shop, chapel and activity center and more.
